JFK Medical Center in Florida is pleased to announce a $76 million hospital expansion. The project will include construction of a brand new emergency room which will be triple our current size and includes a 19-bed clinical decision unit. Completion of this project also includes the addition of 37 new patient beds increasing capacity to 424, the addition of 36 intensive care beds increasng our capacity to 52, and 57 additional private rooms housed in a four story patient tower above the emergency department. In addition to increasing the size of the hospital by over 165,000 square feet, the expansion project will include the renovation of over 14,000 square feet.
