Born in Athens, Greece and having lived and worked in London and New York before coming to Florida, I am accustomed to working with people from all over the world. My personality and international background adds sophistication and culture to my work giving me the ability to interact with any high-profile clientele. Today, I work with multiple clients in Florida and other environs, providing web development and Internet marketing services from my company Ethos Web Studio. While the services provided are technical in nature, I am a saleswoman at heart, bringing to bear my experience and imagination to each client.
As the creative director for Ethos I meet with clients to listen to their concerns and needs and coordinate the other members of the creative team. It is my responsibility to assemble creative staff needed to turn concepts into tangible product. I hire photographers, illustrators, programmers, researchers, or copy writers to fill the needs of each individual project. I cope with job related stress by using my sense of humor always trying to see the funny side of things.
With a career built in executive environments, I bring a sophisticated touch to any project I am involved in. Having earned my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, MCSE NT 4.0 Track along with a Microsoft Certified Professional XP Track from Gibbs College, I can quickly find solutions for any problems that may arise. This proactive approach keeps my clients in the best frame of mind at all times during the project.
I began my career with the Catholic Charities of New York leading a Y2K compliance project. This required extensive traveling and the ability to remain focused within diverse environments. With the Y2K project completed on time and on budget, I sought more complicated work at the New York Metropolitan Hospital, where I was appointed team leader responsible for the quality and speed of service delivery to multiple wards. Working with a wide array of departments required strong interpersonal and communication capabilities to gain valuable insight to avoid potential problems and facilitate the timely completion of projects.
I then moved to the Lifetime Television Channel where I provided support to executive teams and operated as executive assistant to the company’s directors during boardroom presentations and other social events. This position required excellent presentation skills and the ability of breaking down complex operations to step-by-step procedures.
Advancing my career path further, I took a lead executive position with the International Law Firm of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. in Manhattan utilizing my long list of technical and people skills. My work at the firm included the lead support to the senior partners solving technical problems quickly and effectively and coordinating IT projects with department heads. My IT team spearheaded the firm efforts in the aftermath of 9/11 building a new-network corporate workplace in record time for our clients, lawyers, and corporations affected by the crisis.
My career experiences helped me develop a wide range of skills and abilities that launched ExecutivePDA.com, an e-commerce entity supplying wireless hardware devices and importing high-end leather accessories from European and other markets. As one of the founding members of the company, I developed strategic relationships with manufacturers to offer in demand retail PDA products, created customized advertising campaigns, and turned leads into customers by offering top notch sales consulting while helping my clients fulfill their unique needs. I increased sales 150% with excellent margins.
Every work environment I have experienced gave me the ability to use my natural people skills to communicate complicated technical projects to my clients and coworkers. Providing IT support requires finesse, patience, and an understanding of human nature to achieve the necessary solution efficiently. My executive level work in this arena has allowed me to incorporate my international life experience and understanding of executive and sophisticated clientele into my sales and client services. I am an experienced corporate traveler understanding the logistics required to manage project deadlines and staff while on the road.
I can be reached anytime via my cell phone 561-427 8181 to discuss the potential success my sales, coordinating, and client support skills would bring to your corporation. References available upon request.
